Welcome to the One Health VBD Hub (vbdhub.org) 2026 training workshops!

On this site you will find the course materials and pre-work for these sessions.

 

These workshops have been developed to provide training to the VBD community, and span two training events:

November 2026 Training Event at Silwood Park will include several workshops which will focus on using Hub tools to search and retrieve curated datasets, wrangling and visualising these datasets, and effectively communicating to different audiences. There will also be two applied workshops which will provide participants with more specialised approaches to VBD data.

March 2026 Online Training Event covered two workshops - Data Visualisations in R and Data wrangling with Hub Search and ohvbd. These resources are remain available available to support the long term access to this training content.

The aim of these workshops is provide researchers with the skills to improve data communication and sharing with a variety of audiences, including academics, policymakers, and members of the public.
